Delete your account and data

The fastest way: in the app

If you can still sign in, you don't need to contact us — you can delete your account yourself:

1. Open the AV Wings app and go to your profile
2. Tap Settings, then Personalisation
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm

We start removing your data right away and complete the process within 30 days, as described below.

Or request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address registered on your AV Wings account and we'll take it from there.

Please include the email address associated with your account. We'll confirm your request by replying to that address, complete the deletion within 30 days, and send a final confirmation once it's done. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

What gets deleted

• Account & profile information — your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and profile photo.
• Professional & regulatory documents — uploaded IDs, pilot licences, medical certificates, Air Operator's Certificates, insurance policies, and other verification documents.
• Marketplace activity — bookings, charter requests, empty-leg and aircraft listings, job postings and applications, flight and duty-hour logs, and in-app messages.
• Notification data — push-notification tokens registered to your device.
• Device and usage data — app diagnostics, crash logs, and usage data tied to your account.

Some information is retained even after account deletion where we have a legal, regulatory, safety, or financial record-keeping obligation to keep it — for example, transaction and payment records needed for tax or anti-fraud compliance, or booking records required under applicable aviation regulations. This information is retained only as long as required and is not used for any other purpose. Card and bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment processors (Paystack and Flutterwave) and are not stored by AV Wings.
