 | Our first night out on the way to Oshkosh. Quiet accomodations with
close-in parking at the Wahoo, Nebraska at the town airport.
 | Early arrival at OSH. It's Monday at around 10:am, two days before the
start of the show. We're in camping row number 21 and there already appears to be
about 1000 other campers already here. Runway operations are brisk with a plane
landing every few seconds.

 | Tents and wings across the lot.

 | Our campsite
 | Tarheel Hal, one of the very rare P47D's flying today.
 | A Chance-Vought Corsair F1 in pristine condition. A Curtis Hellcat in the background.
 | Closeup view of the Corsair's beautiful R-2800 engine and propeller.
 | Our campsite, in full swing.
 | Lockheed Super-Connie on final, runway 18 Left.
 | One of the amazing new advanced cockpits. This one is from the Velocity XL homebuilt.
Note the digital displays and dual moving-map GPS units. This is still a 'hybrid'
panel: note the old round-style instruments that serve as backup.
