Today, 10 years later, the A-7's are a but a fond memory in most active units. This large collection awaits an uncertain fate at Davis Monthan AFB, Tucson Arizona. Some may be sold to foreign countries, some may be used as target drones and others will live out their days baking in the sun, eventually finding their way to the scrap heap. The white spraylat covering over the engine exhausts indicate that these planes are in OR (operational ready) storage.
